DHCP Tests
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) provides configuration parameters to Internet hosts. DHCP consists of two components: a protocol for delivering host-specific configuration parameters from a DHCP server to a host and a mechanism for allocation of network addresses to hosts. DHCP is built on a client-server model, where designated DHCP server hosts allocate network addresses and deliver configuration parameters to dynamically configured hosts. (Source: RFC 2131)

Preamplifiers
Com-Power broadband high gain preamplifiers were designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing and certification. EMC test labs use preamplifiers to improve sensitivity of the test system during EMI radiated emissions measurements. Without a high gain preamplifier, signals picked by the antenna that have amplitudes below the noise floor of the test system cannot be measured. The preamplifier gain has minimum variations for the entire operating frequency range for accurate emissions measurements. The Com-Power preamplifiers were primarily intended for EMC applications. However, it can be used for other applications that require signal amplification.

Near Field Probes
A typical emi emission test is performed using broadband EMC antennas such as biconical, log periodics, Combilogs and horns. These antennas usually placed at 1, 3 or 10 meter distance as required by the test specification. These is considered far field measurements and the emission limits are given for the specific distance by the specification. During EMI compliance measurements, the emissions levels from products are compared with these limits. If the product exceeds these limits it is considered failing. These tests are typically conducted in a open area test site IOATS) or inside an anechoic chamber.

Reverberation Chambers
Over the past several decades, RCs have been enjoying growing popularity as a promising facility for the characterization of wireless devices and for EMC testing. The RC (Reverberation Chamber) measurement method exhibits much competitive superiority over the AC (Anechoic Chamber) method and TEM Cell method, such as low cost, enhanced test repeatability, a more realistic test environment, and easily achieved high-field environment. The application of the RC for performing EMC testing was first proposed by H. A. Mendes in 1968. In the recent IEC 61000-4-21 standard, the importance of EMC testing using RCs as an alternative measurement technique has been recognized.
